The adventures of Aang and friends will soon return to the big screen. The hit Nickelodeon franchise will be adapted into a trilogy of animated films, with the first film continuing the story of the main characters from the original series Avatar: The Last Airbender, this time as adults.
The film, which will be entitled Aang: The Last Airbender, will be released on October 10, 2025.
Film studio Paramount Pictures announced last week at CinemaCon that singer Eric Nam and Guardians Of The Galaxy star Dave Bautista would join the cast of the animated film.
Nam will voice the adult version of Aang, the protagonist in this series, while Bautista will voice the villain. Posting the news on his Instagram page, Nam said he was “very happy and honored” and called Aang’s role “amazing”.
