BRIGHTEN THE ATMOSPHERE AFTER THE ELECTION
This phenomenon, which involves various interfaith groups, is one of the movements that occurred organically in society after the Presidential and Legislative General Elections, the results of which were announced on Wednesday (20/3).
The election atmosphere that could increase differences in political views among supporters is now diluted by people’s love of hunting for typical Indonesian market snacks. Whatever their religion, whoever their favorite figure was during the last election, everyone likes to hunt for takjil.
This seems to be what the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 01, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, was trying to show when they took part in the takjil hunt at Benhil Market, a market that is famous for serving a variety of market snacks.
“While waiting for the KPU’s announcement, first war takjil with Gus Imin in Benhil, the Kurusetra field for takjil hunters,” said Anies in a post on his Instagram account, quoted from the Bisnis report.
Anies and Cak Imin won second place in the presidential election results which were won by the pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Anies and Cak Imin have also officially filed a lawsuit against the results of the presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK).
“Alhamdulillah, we succeeded in winning fried tofu, brontak tofu, mini martabak, porridge Padang, claw firecrackers, green bananas, kampiun porridge, rolled omelette and fruit ice! There’s still lots of them, who said it was over at 16 o’clock? I didn’t even check the purchases. “First the KTP. It’s safe, everyone can join the war,” said Anies.
