This is the fourth time that the party led by Megawati Soekarnoputri has won the legislative elections, namely the 1999, 2014, 2019 and 2024 legislative elections.

The Golkar Party achieved the biggest jump of all political parties (political parties) after its vote rose almost 3 percent, to be precise 2.98 percent to 15.29 percent.

Meanwhile, the party that will soon become the ruling party, Gerindra, failed to get the coattails effect from Prabowo Subianto. Gerindra’s vote was not much different from the previous legislative election, namely 13.22 percent.

It was recorded that 8 political parties secured seats in the People’s Representative Council (DPR), namely all parties that currently have seats in the DPR except the United Development Party (PPP).

The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), led by President Jokowi’s youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, also had to bury its ambition to send representatives to the DPR after only getting 2.81 percent of the vote.
