The IKN Post — Ismeth Wibowo: Djuanda’s Spirit Must Be Carried Forward by the Young Generation
Highlighting the spirit of struggle of Ir. H. Djuanda Kartawidjaja as one of Muhammadiyah’s key figures, his first grandson, Ismeth Wibowo, expressed his hope that Indonesia’s younger generation will continue to appreciate and carry forward his grandfather’s legacy.
Ismeth emphasized that the young generation has a significant responsibility in safeguarding the sovereignty of maritime territories and developing the economic potential of the maritime sector for the welfare of the people.
More than just remembering the services of Ir. H. Djuanda, Ismeth hopes that this film will serve as an inspiration for young people in pursuing their dreams in various fields, such as economics, education, governance, and politics.
According to Ismeth, his grandfather’s values of struggle must remain alive and serve as a guide for the nation’s youth in contributing to the country.
“Through the Djuanda film, the younger generation, as the nation’s successors, can get closer to my grandfather’s character and fighting spirit.”
“From this film, I sincerely hope that Indonesian youth can continue his struggle in their respective fields, creating a positive impact on the nation’s progress,” said Ismeth, the first grandson of H. Djuanda, a national figure known for his intelligence and dedication to the nation.
This film is expected to further introduce the figure of Ir. H. Djuanda Kartawidjaja and inspire society, especially the younger generation, to continue contributing to national development.
With the inherited spirit of struggle, it is hoped that Indonesia will continue to progress with a generation that is aware of its responsibilities towards the country and the nation.
