TheIKNPost.com โ Ganjar Pranowo launches Free Vocational School for Direct Work for poor families in Pule Field, Wonogiri, Friday (29/12/2023).
He placed education as the key to solving poverty.
This program is a continuation of the efforts made while serving as Governor of Central Java.
As has long been proven, skills schools were developed during his tenure as Governor of Central Java.
With a good education, children from poor families will get good-paying jobs and help their families.
“Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo is a figure who tirelessly thinks about and looks for solutions for education, especially for those who are financially disadvantaged,” said Amarsjah Purwa, Deputy Chair of TPN.
The constitution guarantees the ease of people’s access to education, from elementary to tertiary level.
This is confirmed in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, in the phrase “to make the life of the nation intelligent.” Furthermore, this is regulated more specifically in Article 31.
So far, the Central Java Vocational School developed by Ganjar has graduated 1,837 students.
Of the total number of graduates, around 80 percent of them were immediately absorbed into the world of work and higher education, both at the national and overseas levels.
On that occasion, a child named Obit got the opportunity to continue his education through the Free Vocational School program.
Together with his younger brother, Obit has been living with his grandmother Sagiyem, a farmer.
The grandmother really wanted her grandson to be able to continue going to school so he was happy with the opportunity.
Ganjar also expressed his seriousness about nationalizing Free Vocational Schools if he is elected President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029.
Competence, according to Amar, is the first priority because generation Z’s needs today are readiness for the world of work.
Of course here you need to design from the start, and that was demonstrated by Mas Ganjar when he was still Governor of Central Java.
At the age of a century of independence, the Indonesian nation will achieve a big dream, when all its people can access good education.
At that time, educational institutions were able to produce superior and competent people in their fields. The teaching staff is also qualified so that the quality of the graduates is superior
