Husin Shihab, Chairman of Cyber Indonesia, said he was amazed to see the photo, calling Ganjar Pranowo’s tolerant attitude something extraordinary. In his comments, Shihab even said that Ganjar’s level of tolerance was equivalent to that of Sufis.
Ganjar Pranowo, who is on a political safari, has made staying at local people’s homes a habit when campaigning around Indonesia.
On this occasion, Ganjar stayed at the house of a Christian, a person of Chinese descent, which the owner of the house, Supriadi, admitted was an extraordinary surprise.
Supriadi, the owner of the house, said that at first he was confused when a number of people visited his house during the day.
They apparently came to ask Supriadi for permission so that Ganjar Pranowo could stay overnight at his house. Supriadi stated that he never expected to receive a visit and said, “This is certainly extraordinary.”
Ganjar Pranowo appeared in simple clothes, wearing a T-shirt and sarong, showing a humble attitude and being close to the people.

Supriadi praised Ganjar as a humble figure who is not distant from the people. Even while taking a morning walk, Ganjar stopped to take photos with residents.
According to Supriadi, Ganjar is a simple leader, close to his people, and has a high level of tolerance.
Ganjar Pranowo himself stated that his habit of staying at people’s houses was to absorb aspirations and feel the hearts of the people.
He said that in that place, he learned about tolerance, seeing diverse communities living peacefully and harmoniously.
All aspirations obtained by Ganjar from the community will become projections for future government programs, ensuring that these programs are truly based on community needs.
