The Los Angeles home of model and actor Cara Delevingne was destroyed by fire last weekend. This incident resulted in two people being injured and rushed to hospital.
Quoting a CNN report, the fire incident that occurred on Friday (15/3) last week resulted in one firefighter being taken to hospital and another person experiencing mild smoke inhalation.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said that the other person was a house guard, according to a report by The Guardian.
It took 94 firefighters and more than two hours to extinguish the fire in the two-story house. The roof of the house collapsed in flames.
Through her Instagram account, DeLevingne shared a video showing a street full of fire trucks with their lights on.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people who have helped,” reads the caption of the video posted on Instagram @caradelevingne.
According to the AP report, DeLevingne herself was not at home because she was preparing for her performance in the West End, London, England.
“My heart is broken today, still can’t believe that life can change in the blink of an eye, appreciate what you have,” DeLevigne continued.
Through a series of uploads, DeLevigne also shared the news that his two white cats were safe.
This 31 year old model born in London became widely known in early 2010 and then expanded into the world of acting. DeLevigne appeared in DC Comics’ 2016 Suicide Squad and Luc Besson’s 2017 film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
DeLevigne also appeared in the series Only Murders in the Building with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in 2022, and in American Horror Story in 2023.
