TheIKNPost.com โ The National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) achieved a proud achievement by winning the Towards Informative Award in the Non-Structural Institution category.
The highlight of this award was announced at the event “Notes on the Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Public Information Openness in 2023 which was held by the Public Information Commission (KIP) at the Grand Mercure Hotel, Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Wednesday (20/12/23).
This award was given by the Public Information Commission (KIP) on December 20 2023 in Jakarta, in recognition of BNSP’s dedication in encouraging transparency and openness of information.
In its efforts to ensure maximum access to information, BNSP will continue to be accompanied by KIP through Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities in the coming years.
This award is not only an achievement, but also a benchmark for the quality of information presented by BNSP to the public.
Deputy Chairman of the BNSP Commissioner, Ulfah Mashfufah, proudly received the award certificate. He emphasized BNSP’s responsibility in creating an informed society and making openness the main foundation in providing better services.
In discussions involving various public bodies in the informative category, various informative aspects and qualifications were discussed in depth.
Donny Yoesgintoro, Chairman of the Central Information Commission (KIP), emphasized his institution’s commitment to continuing to encourage public bodies’ compliance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information.
He also invited public bodies that had not yet reached the informative level to continue to improve their management and public information services.
The person in charge of Central KI Monitoring and Evaluation, Handoko Agung Saputro, emphasized the importance of constructive input and notes from all public bodies and sources.
He underlined KIP’s readiness to receive input to advance Monev activities in the future.
Even though there has been an increase in the number of Informative Qualification Public Bodies, Handoko stated that public body compliance is still normative and not yet fully institutionalized.
Several discrepancies in public information services also require further attention.
Alamsyah Saragih, former Chair of KIP, also highlighted the need for sharper assessment variables for information disclosure.
He also emphasized the importance of anticipating issues that might arise before the release of the Monev results, including issues of corruption, law enforcement and ethical violations in public bodies.
