This forum was held with the aim of providing the latest insight and information regarding the prospects of export markets abroad to MSME players.
Around 50 MSMEs ready to export (Ready To Export) in the small and medium segments who already sell various types of superior products and commodities from Indonesia attended this event as partners of BNI and partners of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in Jabodetabek.
BNI Retail Banking Director, Corina Leyla Karnalies emphasized that MSMEs must be encouraged to increase their capacity and capability in doing business because MSMEs have an important role as the backbone of the economy in Indonesia.
“One of the main keys in increasing business scale is to penetrate the export market. “Apart from support in the form of training, mentoring and financing, MSMEs also need to be supported in terms of providing market access in order to expand market coverage, especially overseas,” said Corina.
For this reason, this time the BNI Exporters Forum presents competent speakers from the Ministry of Trade and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, so that MSME players have the opportunity to obtain the latest information regarding market prospects, rules and export regulations in various countries.
Not only that, MSME players are also given solutions regarding financial transactions and export transactions as well as new insights and knowledge with the aim of helping MSMEs penetrate the global market.
Corina added, the BNI Exporters Forum is a form of BNI’s commitment to supporting MSMEs to improve the quality of their businesses so they are able to compete in international markets and can boost the country’s foreign exchange.
“BNI will continue to innovate and collaborate with various parties to provide the best solutions for MSME players.”
It is planned that the BNI Exporters Forum activities will be held in 20 major cities in Indonesia with the hope of having a broad impact on improving MSMEs Go Global.
