The Bangkalan Regency Government has once again made a glorious history by achieving three proud achievements in the 2024 TOP BUMD Awards.
The appreciation event which was held at the Dian Ballroom, Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Wednesday, March 20 2024, was a moment of pride for Bangkalan.
P.J. Bangkalan Regent, Dr. Arief M.Edie, M.Si, was named the recipient of the 2024 Top BUMD Supervisor award.
This prestigious award is given in recognition of PJ’s strategic role, real contribution and continuous support. The Regent as regional head oversees the performance of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD).
Not only that, PUDAM Sumber Sejahtera Bangkalan also achieved brilliant success, which won the Top BUMD award, and led Sobirin Hasan as Director of PUDAM Sumber Sejahtera to win the Top CEO award.
“Alhamdulillah, this award is the result of hard work and strong synergy between the Bangkalan Regency Government and PUDAM Sumber Sejahtera,” said Sobirin with gratitude.
“In 2022, the performance evaluation of PUDAM Bangkalan will still be 2.5 percent, but with hard efforts and full support from the Bangkalan Regency Government, we have succeeded in increasing the performance evaluation value to reach 3.46 or the healthy category according to the performance indicators of the PUPR Ministry. This award is a true testament to the collective efforts we put in.”
Acting The Regent added, apart from improving performance, PUDAM Bangkalan also managed to record a significant increase in profits.
“In 2022, PUDAM experienced a loss of 2.5 million, but in 2023, we managed to record a profit of 2.3 million. “This shows our commitment to continue to improve our performance and provide the best service to the people of Bangkalan,” he said.
Furthermore, Acting The Regent emphasized that PUDAM must continue to maintain the achievements it has achieved and continue to improve its performance, especially in providing services to the community.
“The profits obtained by PUDAM are not only a contribution to Bangkalan’s Original Regional Income (PAD), but must also be accompanied by improvements in services that have a direct impact on the welfare of the community,” he concluded.
The award won by the Bangkalan Regency Government at the 2024 TOP BUMD Awards is clear evidence of their commitment and joint hard work in realizing sustainable development and quality services for the community.
